REBECCA LOUISE PALMER BOWDEN, age 75 of Millsboro formerly of Lewes,died Sunday Sept 3, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Becky as she was fondly called by family was born Nov 24, 1941 in Lewes to the late William G. Sr., & Althea C. Hitchens Palmer.  Becky spent her entire life in Lewes until she and her husband Bernie decided to move to Millsboro to enjoy the peacefulness of country life.  Becky worked several jobs during her working career, Doxsee Co, Stango Western Auto, Barcroft, her last job lasted more than 40 yrs.  Becky and her co worker were groomers,stable attendants for Smith Harness  Racing Stables in Lewes, owned by Hazell Smith.  Becky and Raymond took pride and pleasure in the care the horses received while on their watch.
