WARREN C.  'RICK' SUMLIN, age 77 of Newark, De and formerly of Rehoboth, De., was born March 13, 1939 to the late Edward and Belle  Thrasher Sumlin.    Warren was born and raised in Lake Wales Florida.  He attended the public schools of Polk County and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1957, where he was the football Captain.  He then went on to continue his education at Gibbs College in Saint Petersburg Florida, where he also played football.  He then joined the Armed Forces, after leaving the army he went to Rehoboth Bch, De., upon arrival there he began his career of 40 years at the Dinner Bell Inn, serving many years as a Chef.  He then began his career of 10 years working with Emmert Auctions.  Warren was called to his heavenly home on Wed Feb 1, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Mae, son Norman Love, and sisters Fronnie Sumlin Smith, Mary Ferguson, and Lucy Pearl Sumlin Craft.  Sons: Freddie & Mary Love-Kemper, TX / Emory Sumlin- Orlando, FL / Warren Sumlin, Jr-Newark, DE / Eric Sumlin-Harrington, DE / 2 Daughters: Libby Allen-Milton, DE / Kimberly & John Webb-Milton, DE / 2 Sis: Eddye Sumlin Rivers-Lake Wales, FL / Mildred Sumlin  Lamar-Waverly, FL /  1 Bro: Albert Williams / Grandchildren , Nieces, and Nephews / Many other relatives and friends.  Special friends  Butch & Carol Emmert of Rehoboth, DE.
